Shane has always been passionate about fitness. He has played soccer his whole life, and even played collegiate soccer at Westminster College in Pennsylvania. At Westminster College, he was a 4-year letter winner on the men’s soccer team, along with being team captain his Junior and Senior year.
Shane graduated from Westminster College in 2014. After college, Shane began his personal training career at Balconi Top Training in 2014, His main focus was helping sport specific athletes excel at speed, strength, skill, and agility.
In 2018, Shane found another passion, coaching CrossFit. The athletes he has coached over the past five years have inspired him to create a fitness facility where everyone can reach their own individual goals. Shane and his wife Shannon, strive to create a fitness atmosphere full of people that are driven to become healthier and happier.
Certifications and Licenses: CrossFit Level 1 Trainer, CrossFit Level 2 Trainer, TASO certified Soccer Referee, Level D Coach with the U.S. Soccer Federation, NSCA Member, CPR & First Aid Certified
Shane has 9 years of wrestling experience and 3 years of coaching experience at the Jr. High and High school level. With his love for sports and experience with coaching, Shane is excited to work with athletes interested in sport specific training, as well as coach CrossFit!
Shane graduated with a Bachelor of Science and Education in Sports Science in 2020 from Wright State University. Over the summer, he got his CrossFit Level 1 and programming certificate and is currently studying for his Certified Strength Coach Certification.
Shane enjoys pushing athletes to be the best versions of themselves and helps them reach their individual goals!
